Davide Romeo is an artist born and raised in the Canton of Ticino with a great passion for art, particularly cinema, theater, and painting. In 2011, he graduated from the Dimitri Theater Academy, also obtaining the prestigious "Migros Talent" title. He continued to study alongside his artistic career, exploring film acting by participating in numerous masterclasses held by renowned Los Angeles acting coach, Bernard Hiller.

 

Davide's artistic career began as an actor, clown, acrobat, and dancer, ranging from the circus to cabaret, then moving on to musicals and theater, performing in national and international stages. He had a prominent role as the protagonist in the acclaimed theatrical production of Pinocchio at the TOBS. As the lead artist at Luzerner Theater, he participated in the dance project with the famous director and choreographer Martino Müller, which led to a second collaboration for the huge Belgian musical production of Peter Pan, The Never Ending Story.In 2014, Davide embarked on two tours with Zirkus Chnopf, showcasing his skills and captivating audiences with his performances. However, his career took a significant turn in 2017 when he joined Circus Monti, resulting in their most successful season at the time. In 2022, he showcased his talents as an actor and dancer in the classic Swiss musical, Space Dream, in Zurich.

 

Davide's passion for cinema began at a young age when he enjoyed writing stories and making films with his brothers and cousins, enriching his self-taught knowledge in the world of filmmaking. In 2020, during the lockdown, he founded the film production company "Quarantine Production" together with his colleague Simone Ganser. He created and produced the ambitious project of the TV series "Swiss Secrets," on which he worked as a writer, director, actor, and post-producer. The series had a successful premiere and screening at the Solothurn Film Festival.
